Boston Terrier Figurine Boston Terrier Figurine Gallery

I am always looking to buy vintage (only) Boston Terrier collectibles, so if you have anything for sale, please e-mail me!

My love for Boston Terriers has spilled over into the collecting of Boston Terrier figurines over the years! My collection began when I was 9 years old and in the hospital emergency waiting room, waiting with my dad who had just broken his leg. The gift shop was nearby, and I wandered in only to see a beautiful standing Josef Boston Terrier figurine on the shelf for sale! My parents bought it for me, and I have carefully and safely guided that original figurine through many moves and many years! You can see him on page 11 of the gallery, standing in the back on the left-hand side.

When I was 19 and in Nursing School, one of the other students had heard that I raised Boston Terriers. She said her Grandmother had died and had left a large box full of Boston Terrier figurines that they didn't know what to do with. She asked if I wanted them - yes - of course! There was a Mortens puppy and some Leftons and a few others that were very nice. My collection was then underway with a nice start!

I only collect what I love (mostly vintage). There are some very expensive Boston Terrier items out there, but many of them just don't excite me. I collect a lot of whimsical Japanese figures, hand-carved wooden items, Mortens, and of course the exquisite old Hutschenreuther German Boston! Sometimes I will see a figurine that reminds me of a dog I have had in the past, which is wonderful! Aside from the unusual and whimsical, I like to collect good representations of the breed - after all, as a breeder and exhibitor, I am always looking for a good specimen :-)
